Support Our School! These words create a well known acronym-SOS! Parent support is critical to the success of the school’s different projects.
We accept Paypal as a way to donate to our school, we accept most major credit cards as well as Paypal to Paypal transfer. If you click the donate button below, you will be taken to a page where you can complete your donation.
Parent Support can be for helping in the classrooms. Classroom teachers are always looking for moms, dads, grandmas, and grandpas to help with hearing children read, do flash card work, gardening, art projects, and cooking projects. Volunteers, in the Primary classrooms, must meet the requirements of the Department of Early Learning, and in the Elementary classrooms, must meet the requirements of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Each of us has those things that we are more interested in. Let us help you find what best suits how you would like to support the school. Your time and effort would be very much appreciated.
Another way families can support our school is with the Fred Meyer Community Rewards program. Fred Meyer is donating $2.5 million per year to non-profits in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington, based on where their customers tell them to give. Here’s how the program works: Sign up for the Community Rewards program by linking your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to Skinner Elementary Montessori at www.fredmeyer.com. You can search for Skinner by our name or by our non-profit number, which is 82459. Every time you shop and use your Rewards Card, you are helping Skinner earn a donation. You will still earn our reward points, fuel points, and rebates, just as you do today.
Yet another way that you can support our school is through shopping via AmazonSmile, you can click HERE (Or alternately just type Smile.Amazon.Com into your browser) to be brought to the Amazon shopping portal. It does not operate any differently than your regular Amazon account and in fact, you can use you regular account to log in and pass the savings on to us. Upon your first visit to AmazonSmile you will be asked to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases. Once you have selected us by searching for Skinner Elementary Montessori School, it will default to us as your chosen charitable organization.
