Ria Boger, French Teacher
Ria Boger, French Teacher, has been with Skinner for two years. Prior to joining Skinner, Ria was the French teacher at a Catholic Elementary school in Camas for eight years where she taught Preschool through eighth grade. Ria received her teacher education at a Belgian Catholic college. After graduating, she taught French and European history at the secondary level for over fifteen years prior to moving to the United States in 1999. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2008. While not teaching, Ria enjoys gardening, visiting her family in Europe, traveling to Hawaii, spending time with her friends and reading spiritual books. In addition to English and French, ria also speaks dutch and German.
Weber Drummond (Iago), Piano Teacher
Weber Drummond (AKA Weber Iago) is the new resident piano teacher at Skinner. Weber is an internatioanlly acclaimed professional pianist and 2009 Latin Grammy Nominee. Piano lessons are being offered at Skinner Elementary Montessori after school from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. V. Kohler, Elementary Teacher
Mrs. Kohler, Elementary Teacher, AMI has been with Skinner for 5 years, three years as an Elementary Montessori teacher. She has her Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Bombay in Mumbai, where she grew up. Mrs. Kohler enjoys writing poetry, photography and spending time with her familiy. She is also an avid organic gardener.

Mary (Neno) Skinner, Elementary Teacher
Mary Skinner, Elementary Teacher, AMI, has been teaching at Skinner approximately 21 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Portland, Portland, Oregon and a Montessori Elementary Certificate from the Washington Montessori Institute in Washington, D.C. She had her own Elementary Montessori school in Boise, Idaho for six years and taught in the public school system in rural Oregon for 1 1/2 years. For most of her years at Skinner, she taught the Upper Elementary. This past September, 2009, she was given the opportunity to teach a Lower Elementary class which includes 4 1/2, 5, 5 1/2 years old; she has found this experience as rewarding as teaching the older children! When she is not teaching, she also enjoys writing, farming, art, music, especially jazz, and reading!
