The school accepts children who have been potty-trained into the Primary school between the ages of 2½ and 5 years. This encompasses Preschool through Kindergarten and includes French lessons five days a week. The program is offered in three options depending upon your child's development: half day, full day, and kindergarten. Click here to view our complete Primary school curriculum. Each classroom has a maximum enrollment of 20 students; with both a full-time teacher and assistant (1 to 10 ratio). To assure your child's readiness and to answer any questions it is strongly recommended that a classroom observation be arranged. Once your child is enrolled at Skinner, a teacher's assessment will be performed to determine where your child's teacher will begin with the Montessori curriculum.

Preschool Half Day

8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Preschool Full Day

8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Kindergarten

8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Before and After Hours Care
Offered for Skinner students is a childcare before and after school. You may sign your child up for Before and After Hours Care for the entire year or on occasion as needed. 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Piano lessons are offered to students of Skinner for an additional fee. For more information and availability, contact Jenny Harris.

Skinner also offers a fun, full-time, traditional Primary Montessori program for children between the ages of 2½ through 5.
